The shooting on "Soten no yume" was started on location in Nagasaki early in Oct. and  is on location in Yamaguchi today.

I could reach the closing day of "Ogasawarasodo".
Everyday big audience was a great encouragement to me.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart !
Today I took a curtain call which was unusual in kabuki.
My excitement doesn't wear off, and "Ogasawarasodo" has become the unforgettable play.

The curtain of "Ogasawarasodo" has risen !

The revival of stage after an interval of twenty two years and also the revival of playbook after an interval of forty five years fire me.
This play is set the interest of kabuki unstintingly and it has many highlights.
The fighting scene at the water mill using as much as six tons of real water, stage devices, and dramas will delight you.
All the performers and the staff put everything they have into this stageto entertain you.
Please do come to our play together.

Hashinosuke had his thirty-fourth birthday on Aug. 31.
The rehearsal ended earlier than usual, so I went to Tokyo Disney Land and refreshed myself.
When I went home, there were much email, and I read them with pleasure.
I express my thanks here.

I appeared on live TV program "Ii asa 8-ji" on Sep 4. Did you see that?
I will appear on NHK's TV program "Top Runner" which is scheduled to be on the air in Oct.
It is going to be a good chance to show me as it really is. I hope you see it.

Shooting on the NHK's the New Year period film "Soten no yume" is scheduled to start in Oct.
This original work of this film is Shiba Ryotaro's masterpiece "Yo ni sumu hitobito" which portrays the life of Yoshida Shoin.
Hashinosuke plays Yoshida Shoin. The support actors are Noh farce actor Mr. Nomura Mansai and others.
The director is Mr. Matsuoka Koji who directed "Mori Motonari".
This film is scheduled to be on the air on NHK High-Vision TV on Jan. 1, 2000, and on NHK general TV on Jan. 3, 2000.
Please don't miss it.
